Fragile Tomorrows

I admit I had expected What Might Have Been to be "one and done." I had achieved my lifelong dream of writing a novel and having it published. However, at the urging of several of my readers, I have started a sequel tentatively titled Fragile Tomorrows. Those of you who have read What Might Have Been probably remember Mavis, a character many have said was their favorite. Feisty Mavis takes center stage in this sequel, which is a historical romance/mystery. Set a few years later in 1868, Mavis's past catches up with her and threatens to destroy the relationship she and Red have. And Sarah, the laundress at Fort Kearny who had a very minor part in my debut novel, has an integral role in this one as an unwilling worker in Denver's red light district. Stay tuned!
